Getting Started

Learn how to get started with The Traders Insight platform and join our trading community.

Signing Up

Getting started with The Traders Insight is quick and straightforward:

  1. Visit The Traders Insight website
  2. Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner
  3. Create your account with email and password, or sign up with Google or Discord
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Log in and complete the onboarding wizard

Onboarding

After signing up, you'll be guided through a short setup wizard:

  1. Profile Setup — upload a profile picture and confirm your details
  2. Theme Selection — choose between light, dark, or system theme
  3. Workspace Setup — set up your personal workspace where your layouts and widgets live
  4. Choose a Plan — start with the Free plan or upgrade to Pro for real-time data

Platform Overview

The dashboard uses a Bloomberg-style command terminal to navigate between tools. Press the backtick key (`) to focus the terminal, type a command, and hit Enter.

Symbol-Based Widgets

Use the format SYMBOL FUNCTION (e.g., AAPL G for an Apple price chart):

  • G — Price Chart
  • Q — Quick Quote
  • TK — Stock Ticker
  • TS — Time & Sales
  • DES — Company Description (coming soon)
  • FA — Financial Statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • DVD — Dividend History
  • CF — SEC Filings
  • N — Market News
  • NOTE — Notes Editor

Standalone Widgets

  • WATCH — Watchlist (multi-tab, customizable)
  • SCAN — Scanner
  • PBS — Pre-Built Scanners
  • MM — Market Movers
  • EC — Earnings Calendar
  • IPO — IPO Tracker
  • CC — Compare Chart
  • LS — Live Stream
  • LB — LogicBlocks Manager (alias: M)
  • LBM — LogicBlock Marketplace (alias: MMKT)
  • CHAT — Chat
  • WL — Widget List (browse all widgets)

Layouts & Workspaces

  • Arrange widgets with drag-and-drop on a customizable grid
  • Create multiple layouts for different trading scenarios (Pro)
  • Pin frequently used widgets for quick access
  • Switch between workspaces to separate different trading environments
