Learn how to get started with The Traders Insight platform and join our trading community.
Signing Up
Getting started with The Traders Insight is quick and straightforward:
- Visit The Traders Insight website
- Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner
- Create your account with email and password, or sign up with Google or Discord
- Verify your email address
- Log in and complete the onboarding wizard
Onboarding
After signing up, you'll be guided through a short setup wizard:
- Profile Setup — upload a profile picture and confirm your details
- Theme Selection — choose between light, dark, or system theme
- Workspace Choice — create a personal workspace for solo trading, or set up an organization for team collaboration
- Organization Setup (if applicable) — add your company logo, set a name and URL slug, and invite team members
- Choose a Plan — start with the Free plan or upgrade to Pro for real-time data

Platform Overview
The dashboard uses a Bloomberg-style command terminal to navigate between tools. Press the backtick key (`) to focus the terminal, type a command, and hit Enter.
Symbol-Based Widgets
Use the format SYMBOL FUNCTION (e.g., AAPL G for an Apple price chart):
- G — Price Chart
- DES — Company Description
- FA — Financial Statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow)
- DVD — Dividend History
- CF — SEC Filings
- N — Market News
- NOTE — Notes Editor
- TK — Stock Ticker (bid/ask/volume)
Standalone Widgets
- WL — Watchlist (multi-tab, customizable)
- IPO — IPO Tracker
- CHAT — Team Chat
- M — Macros Manager
- W — Widget Builder (custom queries and watchlists)
- L — Widget List (browse all widgets)
- HELP — Help & Command Reference
Layouts & Workspaces
- Arrange widgets with drag-and-drop on a customizable grid
- Create multiple layouts for different trading scenarios (Pro)
- Pin frequently used widgets for quick access
- Switch between workspaces to separate different trading environments
